Hi there! My name is James, I'm a web designer. I make awesome websites.

I've been making websites for over a decade now, seen the demise of the animated gif, the table based layout, and the dot-com bubble. In that time, I've made lots of websites, business and personal, professional and amateur. I've followed trends, kept up with standards, and used the latest in techniques and technology.

My philosophy on web design?
Your site exists for the user, the user is wants something from your site.. Help the user and help yourself.

I've work for Richards Design Group for six years as the only web designer on staff. I do it all from setting up email and hosting to designing and coding sites, tweaks, recommendations, consulting with clients about ideas they have, the whole kit and caboodle.

I have an Associates of Applied Science in Communications Graphics Technology from Pellissippi State Technical Community College, graduating with honors. I was also a member of Phi Theta Kappa for the majority of my time at College, and was honored on the Dean's list multiple times.

In my free time, I like to practice photography, play video games, and make things.
